Bench Program
As part of the Older Adult Plan, the City of Ottawa installs additional benches on sidewalks in areas of the city with the high concentrations of seniors. On June 1st, 2019, Senior Watch Old Ottawa South invited people young and old to vote for the best location for a bench to rest and chat. The bench, in recognition of Ottawa’s inaugural Intergenerational Day, was installed later that year.
